First heart sound (LUB(B) coincides with which wave of ECG?
Text Solution
Verified by ExpertsThe correct answer is:
NOT AVAILABLE
The first heart sound (lub) is associated with the closure of the tricuspid and bicuspid valves. QRS complex in ECG represents ventricular depolarisation. Ventricular systole occurs in response to depolarisation, shortly after Q wave. Closure of tricuspid and bicuspid valves takes place during ventricular systole and it coincides with R wave on ECG.
